I stayed overnight at a motel in Geelong. After I left the motel, I decided to go down to the waterfront and I found the Geelong Botanic Gardens. I spent an hour or so wandering around having a good look. It was a nice sunny morning and the harbour was spectacular.<\/p>

After I left the gardens, I drove to Port Lonsdale. I checked out the lighthouse and the old gun emplacements before exploring the beach and the rock pools. Following on from this, I drove around to Barwon Heads and had a quick look around there. This took up most of the day. After this, it was time to head off again. I drove to Melbourne where I had booked a motel at Box Hill for the next three nights.<\/div>\n

After I settled in at the motel, I met my friend Rob. Rob had booked a table for us at the Micawber Tavern at Belgrave. The atmosphere was great and we had a most enjoyable meal there.<\/span><\/em><\/span> After the meal, Rob took me to Skyhigh at <\/span><\/span>Mount Dandenong. The view of the Melbourne lights from there was breathtaking. It was also freezing up there.  Unfortunately I forgot to take my camera with me.
